I Believe in the Beauty in Us All.

There it is. That’s my secret.

From wedding portraits to corporate headshots, I choose to see the goodness in the world and people every day.

I began shooting weddings in 2001, and by 2006 was a husband-wife team known as Documentary Associates Photography. During the 10 years that we were married and worked together, we shot hundreds of weddings, engagement sessions, proposals, elopements, an inaugural ball, received countless positive reviews on WeddingWire, and were proud to have been featured in Washingtonian Bride & Groom’s print magazine and website multiple times, as well as being honored with the magazine cover one year.

Wedding and event photography has become part of my DNA and I have developed a viscerally positive somatic response to the smell of walking into a reception room, filled with nothing but freshly laundered linens, tealight candles and anticipation of the greatest night of our lives…

I am a creative. My work style is curated. I don’t overshoot. Quality over quantity. You have an editor as well.

I am grace under pressure and can make photographic magic just about anywhere in a pinch. I’m simultaneously invisible and everywhere all at once. Working with me is easy. Clients have said I’m more than a photographer, I’m an artist — the highest compliment I could ever receive (thank you!).

I like to have fun when I work — and if I can help calm your nerves and make you smile, then I’m doing my job. My clients regularly say the same thing… that they enjoyed working with me - and they looked GOOD! Read for yourself, what they say.

I hope you appreciate the beauty of my artistry, as much as I appreciate the opportunity to work with you.

Let’s Make Something Beautiful.
